Is it safe to send my credit card information over the Internet?
YES! We have paid strict attention to security issues, and are proud to point to the following security features of LoveGifts.com:
  • LoveGifts.com uses secure server technology to encrypt sensitive portions of the communications between the site and our customers.
  • LoveGifts.com never stores or saves your credit card information.   Using strong encryption, we contact Visa or Mastercard to get an approval code for the transaction, and the card number is deleted within seconds of being submitted to us.

Two other things to consider when evaluating the safety of Using your credit card on the Internet:

  • Under Federal law, the limit of liability for card holders whose card is used with-out their knowledge is $50.  Visa and Mastercard have voluntarily extended this protection to debit cards!  (you must notify the card issuer IMMEDIATELY when you discover unauthorized activity)
  • It is harder to steal credit card numbers off of the Internet than it is for a store clerk or restaurant waiter to get the data, yet we regularly hand over credit cards to people we don't know on a daily basis.
